生産技術マネジャー/ Production Engineering Manager

A multinational automotive manufacturing organisation is seeking a Production Engineering Manager. The selected candidate will provide production engineering expertise, drive continuous improvement initiatives, support manufacturing optimisation, and lead technical development activities across multiple plants.Responsibilities: Provide production engineering expertise to engine component plants across Japan, Thailand, and other Asian countries Guide plant personnel in implementing appropriate process technologies and production systems Advise on the development and implementation of cost-efficient and high-efficiency equipment Promote monitoring, root cause analysis, corrective actions, poka-yoke, Kanban, and lean manufacturing practices Monitor defect rates and productivity performance through benchmarking and trend analysis Drive continuous improvement projects and expand best practices across sites Lead cost reduction, process optimisation, and problem-solving initiatives Develop training plans, mentor staff, and conduct internal and external training programmes Support customer audits, complaint handling, and plant readiness for new business initiatives Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above in Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field More than 10 years of experience in metal casting and machining More than 3 years of experience in leadership and management Experience in piston manufacturing Experience in aluminium casting or machining of metal components Ability and willingness to travel within the Asia-Pacific region Ability to work in Saitama, Japan Proficient in English About the Company: A globally established automotive manufacturing organisation specialising in advanced engine components and production engineering solutions.
